Job Description

Role Overview: As an FPGA Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design and development efforts across various projects in a dynamic and collaborative work environment. Your primary responsibility will involve defining and developing intricate FPGA designs for Test products. Working closely with cross-functional teams including R&D Project Manager, Product Architects, Solution Teams, FPGA developers, and Software Engineers, you will contribute to the enhancement of existing products and the creation of new product offerings. Collaboration with design teams based in the US and Europe will be a key aspect of this role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of complex FPGA designs for Test products - Collaborate with system architects to define the system architecture and ensure seamless interfacing of the FPGA with other components on the PCA board - Utilize expertise in RTL languages such as VHDL or Verilog for FPGA development - Employ Xilinx FPGA Tools Design Flow including Vivado, Chipscope, and Quartus - Utilize EDA Functional Simulation tools such as Synopsys, Mentor, or Cadence - Create a self-checking Simulation environment with test bench, automation scripts, and test case development - Ensure timing closure for complex designs - Develop detailed documents including Product Definition, FPGA Design, and Hardware & Software Interface documents - Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills - Act as a proactive team player, displaying responsiveness and accountability - Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, protocols, and product segments Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering - Minimum 10 years of R&D experience in FPGA development with Altera and Xilinx technologies - Proficiency in Xilinx FPGA Tools Design Flow and RTL languages (VHDL or Verilog) - Experience with EDA Functional Simulation tools (Synopsys, Mentor, Cadence) - Ability to collaborate effectively in an international and multi-vendor environment - Familiarity with creating self-checking Simulation environments and test bench automation - Experience in working with Keysight instruments and protocols like PCI Express, USB, MIPI, Ethernet, and DDR (Note: The additional details of the company were not mentioned in the provided job description.),
