Role Summary:

FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Forecasting:

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the organization.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand and incorporate their budget requirements into the overall financial plans.

2. Budgeting and Planning:

• Develop and manage detailed budgeting processes, ensuring accurate and timely submission across all departments.
• Monitor budgets for compliance and variance analysis, ensuring proper financial governance.
• Coordinate with senior leadership to ensure the organizations strategic initiatives are properly reflected in the financial plans.

3. Financial Analysis & Reporting:

• Conduct variance analysis to track performance against budget, forecast, and historical data.
• Provide actionable insights on financial performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and business trends.

4. MIS and Analytics:

• Lead the development and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual Management Information Systems (MIS) reports.
• Provide data-driven insights and in-depth analysis of financial results, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Leverage advanced analytics to enhance financial decision-making and optimize operational efficiency.

5. Competitor Analysis:

• Conduct regular competitor and market analysis to provide insights into industry trends, benchmarking financial performance against competitors.
• Support strategic decision-making by analyzing competitive positioning and suggesting areas for financial growth.

6. Business Partnering:

• Work closely with business units to understand their financial needs, provide analytical support, and ensure financial alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, and HR) to drive financial initiatives and performance improvement.

7. Cash Flow & Profitability Management:

• Monitor cash flow to ensure the business maintains a healthy liquidity position.
• Track profitability trends across different business segments and provide insights for improvement.

8. Process Improvement:

• Drive improvements in financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead efforts for the automation and streamlining of financial reporting and budgeting processes.

9. Compliance & Controls:

• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and standards.
• Support internal audits and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

10. Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
• Provide guidance and training on financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis best practices.

11. Experience in Working with Leadership Team:

• Collaborate effectively with senior leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Contribute to business strategy discussions by providing financial expertise and ensuring alignment with long-term goals.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Education:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with post-qualification experience of at least

  8 years

  in a similar FP&A role, ideally in a global or multinational environment.

• Experience:

• Strong experience in

  financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting

  .
• In-depth knowledge of

  financial modeling, variance analysis, and management reporting

  .
• Proficiency in using financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Excel, etc.).
• Experience in providing financial insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and business units.
• Prior experience in managing or leading a team would be a plus.
• Experience in conducting
