About the role :

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our financial health and strategy, providing critical support for budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning. The ideal candidate should be an expert in financial modelling, possesses strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What you will do

• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, periodic forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Collaborate with department heads and cross-functional teams to gather data, understand business drivers, and ensure financial plans align with strategic objectives.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting:
• Conduct comprehensive variance analysis to identify and explain discrepancies between actual financial results and budgeted/forecasted figures.
• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insightful commentary on business performance and trends.
• Business Partnering:
• Act as a trusted financial partner to the business, offering financial guidance and data-driven analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis for special projects and new business initiatives.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Help drive automation efforts related to financial modeling and reporting.
• Financial Modelling:
• Develop and maintain robust financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and investment evaluation.
• Perform sensitivity and what-if analysis to assess the impact of different business scenarios.

Requirement:

• Education: MBA in Finance or CFA or CPA

• Experience: 5 to 6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a similar role. Experience in Manufacturing Industry is a must.

• Skills

  :
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial audiences.
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems and ability to learn (e.g., EPICORE) is preferred.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
