Job Title: FP&A Analyst

Location:

Job Overview:

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in the preparation, analysis, and reporting of essential financial data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal financial controls. This role involves monthly financial closing, budgeting and forecasting, receivables management, and supporting global projects. Additionally, the role requires regular interactions with the country team to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Monthly MIS and Related Queries:

  • Prepare and analyse Monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports.
  • Address and resolve queries related to MIS reports from internal teams, stakeholders, or leadership.

Financial Reporting, Closing & FI vs MIS Reconciliation:

  • Lead the monthly financial closing process, including balance sheet and P&L.
  • Perform reconciliation between Financial Accounting (FI) and Management Information System (MIS) to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Intercompany reconciliations

Monthly Review PPT:

  • Develop and present monthly review PowerPoint presentations to senior management, highlighting financial performance, key metrics, and variances.
  • Ensure presentations are clear, accurate, and provide actionable insights.

Budget and Forecast Preparation and Review PPTs:

  • Collaborate with department heads and leadership to prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Prepare and present PowerPoint presentations summarizing budget vs. actual performance, including insights and analysis.

Receivable Ageing Report and Analysis:

  • Generate and review the receivable ageing report to track outstanding invoices.
  • Analyze overdue accounts and assist in devising strategies to reduce outstanding receivables.

Accounting and Transactional Queries:

  • Address day-to-day accounting queries, including general ledger entries and transactions.
  • Collaborate with other finance teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues in transactional data.

Gross-to-Net Working and True-Up/Down Adjustments:

  • Support gross-to-net calculations to ensure accurate reporting of revenues and costs.
  • Manage true-up and true-down adjustments, ensuring compliance with accounting policies.

Support for Global Projects:

Routine Discussion and Meetings with Country Team:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with financial reporting systems (BPC, SAP etc.).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to senior finance team and interact with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in preparing PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership review.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
