Job Description

Position: Foundry Quality-Manager

Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of castings, patterns (Full Mould & Conventional), moulds, and machined components.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications throughout the foundry process.
Collaborate with production and design teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare quality reports.
Implement and monitor quality control procedures and standards.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for non-conformities.
Support audits and customer inspections as required.
Train and mentor junior quality staff.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum
12 years of hands-on inspection experience
in a jobbing foundry shop (up to 20T capacity).
Proficient in inspecting various types of patterns, moulding processes, and finish-machined castings.
Strong understanding of foundry operations and casting defects.
Familiarity with marking standards and dimensional inspection techniques.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
