Forward Deployed Engineering Architect  

Roles & responsibilities 

Drive solution architecture for complex and large-scale UiPath and AI automation projects. 

Lead client workshops on automation strategy, process discovery, and solution mapping.  

Define governance frameworks, technical standards, and reusable solution patterns.  

Oversee full delivery lifecycle from requirements through to productionizing automation and AI agents.  

Provide technical guidance and thought leadership to client and offshore engineering teams.  

Advise clients on best practices for platform integration, scaling, and risk management.  

Mentor and enable engineers in adopting Agentic AI automation features and RPA  

Drive the design and implementation of integration strategies across platforms, bots, and AI services.  

Own escalation and resolution for critical technical challenges and incidents.  

Shape and contribute to delivery accelerators, solution IP, and innovation efforts for UiPath and AI.  

Represent the offshore engineering capability in strategy, planning, and customer architecture discussions. 

Qualification 

8–12+ years overall IT experience, including 5+ years directly in UiPath/RPA/automation and at least 3+ years in an architect or lead role. 

Repeated experience architecting and scaling large UiPath programs (multitenant, multiregion, hundreds or thousands of processes/robots). 

UiPath Solution Architect–level credential (UiPath RPA Solution Architect Certification or equivalent) preferred. 

UiPath Automation Developer Professional plus one or more advanced/specialized AI certifications  

Deep experience integrating UiPath with enterprise applications (ERP/CRM/ITSM), data platforms, and AI/ML services (LLMs, OCR, Document Understanding, ML models). 

Strong architecture background: cloud-native patterns, security, resilience, observability, and governance frameworks for automation platforms. 

Demonstrated leadership in defining standards, reference architectures, and reusable solution frameworks for automation and AI agents. 

Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering required; advanced degree (MS/MTech/MBA with technology focus) will be beneficial  

Active participation in UiPath/automation communities, speaking, or contributions to best practices/IP is a strong differentiator
