Forward Deployed Engineer

Role Overview: You will operate at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Engineering as a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) at LimeTray. Your main responsibilities will include being embedded with prospects and customers to understand their toughest problems, design solutions using LimeTray's suite, and make the business case stick. This role focuses on hustling in the field, engineering solutions on the fly, shaping deals, and influencing the future development of LimeTray. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with sales on high-value deals by engaging in pre-sales engineering activities such as diagnosing customer workflows, designing architectures, and building compelling demos/prototypes. - Translate customer needs into working solutions through solutioning and deployment by configuring, customizing, or coding lightweight integrations. - Bring structured insights from the field back into product roadmaps to influence the direction of future developments. - Act as a force multiplier in closing strategic accounts by bridging the gap between customer executives, operations teams, and LimeTray engineers. - Advise customers on digitizing operations, leveraging AI-led analytics, and driving adoption at scale. Qualifications Required: - Strong fundamentals in coding (Python, JS/Node, or Java), APIs, and data to prototype and ship quickly. - Comfortable in customer meetings, understanding ROI levers, and supporting sales in negotiations. - Ability to thrive in ambiguous, messy real-world problems and architect solutions pragmatically. - Skilled at moving seamlessly between customer stakeholders, internal sales teams, and engineering pods. - Self-starter, resourceful, and thrives in fast-moving environments.
