Job Purpose and Scope

Responsible for product development across all divisions of research, such as delivery technologies, microencapsulation & nano encapsulation ,processes, fluid bed processes, spray drying and congealing process.

• Time taken to operationalize
• Compliance of product with regulations across geographies

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop and commercialize of all research projects related to beadlets, Pellets and various microencapsulation technology.
• Prepare project management plan and the target product profile for all projects being undertaken as per NPD.
• Experience in micro encapsulation , nanoencapsulation , delivery systems and sound knowledge about different encapsulation techniques with various applications, preferably in Nutra/Food & Pharma industry. Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) would be an added advantage.
• Knowledgeable with various characterization techniques of encapsulatedproducts.
• Carry out literature search with a specific objective related to product under development. Prepare documentation as required by the NPD process.
• Periodically review all projects & provide status updates to the Head

Formulation

• Work closely with the Tech Transfer team for the successful scale-up of new product.
• Excellent English language skills for oral and written communication

together with good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and

interact effectively with all levels of the organization

ducation:

• Bachelor/ Masters / PhD in Nutrition, Pharma, Food, Chemical or Lifesciences

Experience:

• 5-6 years with experience in Formulation development & Microencapsulation research
