Job Description

Opening for Formulation and Development.

Location :

Role & responsibilities

Formulation Development:
Develop new ointment formulations and improve existing ones.
Select appropriate excipients based on compatibility, functionality, and regulatory acceptance.
Conduct pre-formulation studies, solubility, and stability assessments.
Prepare lab-scale and pilot-scale batches.
Process Optimization:
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes (mixing, homogenization, filling, etc.).
Prepare process validation and scale-up documents.
Documentation:
Prepare and maintain formulation development reports (FDRs), batch manufacturing records (BMRs), and specifications.
Support dossier preparation for regulatory submissions (ANDA, CTD, etc.).
Analytical Coordination:
Coordinate with the analytical department for testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
Evaluate results for stability, viscosity, pH, spreadability, and other critical parameters.
Technology Transfer:
Support technology transfer from R&D to production.
Prepare and review technology transfer documents and protocols.
Regulatory & Quality Compliance:
Ensure formulations comply with GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in internal and external audits as required.
