Foreman

As a Foreman in the Production and Maintenance department at our Bengaluru location, you will play a crucial supervisory role in overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations in the MRO facility. Your responsibilities will include planning, assigning, and monitoring maintenance activities on heavy aircraft to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and company standards. Your role will require strong leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and effective team management for major maintenance projects. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of technicians and mechanics working on maintenance tasks for heavy aircraft. - Ensure all maintenance work adheres to OEM manuals, regulatory standards, and company procedures. - Plan and allocate manpower, tools, and resources to meet maintenance schedules and production requirements. - Monitor the progress of maintenance tasks and provide timely updates to the Production Manager. - Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to technicians and junior staff. - Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards within the MRO. - Review and verify maintenance records for accuracy and compliance. - Participate in troubleshooting, defect rectification, and quality control activities. - Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Experience: - Degree or Diploma in Aeronautical / Mechanical / Electrical / Avionics Engineering (or equivalent). - Minimum 8 years of experience in an MRO environment dealing with major maintenance of heavy aircraft. - At least 5 years of proven supervisory experience in a maintenance environment. - Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory compliance. - Prior Towing experience would be an added advantage.
