The Food Pantry Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the operations of the food pantry, ensuring that all services are delivered effectively and efficiently. This position involves overseeing food distribution, coordinating volunteers, and maintaining compliance with food safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and culinary practices, along with excellent organizational skills to support the mission of providing nutritious meals to those in need.

Duties

• Oversee daily operations of the food pantry, including food inventory management and distribution processes.
• Coordinate volunteer activities, including training and scheduling to ensure adequate staffing during pantry hours.
• Develop and implement menu planning strategies that cater to diverse dietary needs while maximizing available resources.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for food preparation and storage.
• Collaborate with local organizations and community partners to enhance food sourcing and outreach efforts.
• Assist in meal preparation and cooking as needed, utilizing strong culinary skills to create nutritious options for clients.
• Maintain accurate records of food inventory, client services, and volunteer hours for reporting purposes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
