Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented F&B Captain to oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate will supervise the service team, maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, and ensure smooth coordination between guests, staff, and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide the service team during operations to ensure excellent guest experiences.
  • Greet guests, manage seating arrangements, and handle special requests professionally.
  • Ensure all service standards, hygiene, and safety protocols are strictly followed.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to maintain timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Assist in training new staff and conducting daily briefings.
  • Monitor table settings, cleanliness, and overall dining ambiance.
  • Handle guest complaints effectively and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory of cutlery, glassware, and service equipment.
  • Support in planning and executing events, banquets, and promotions.
  • Ensure proper billing and cash-handling procedures are followed.
  • Report operational issues and feedback to the F&B Supervisor/Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Food & Beverage service, preferably in hotels or fine dining.
  • Strong knowledge of F&B service standards, menu items, and beverage pairing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
  • Good understanding of POS systems and billing procedures.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional grooming and a customer-centric attitude.

Preferred Skills

  • Certification or diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
  • Experience in handling events/banquets.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and handle pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
