UI/UX Designer Intern

Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and passionate UI/UX Designer Intern to join our growing product and development team. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a key role in crafting user-friendly and visually engaging interfaces for both web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to transform ideas and business goals into functional, intuitive, and attractive digital experiences. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of visual design, user-centric thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities. Key Responsibilities: Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes. Design key UI components like forms, menus, tabs, buttons, icons, and widgets. Ensure consistent visual branding and UI design across all screens and devices. Work closely with front-end developers for pixel-perfect implementation. Optimize interfaces for various devices (responsive, mobile-first design). Incorporate feedback from usability testing into design iterations. Maintain and expand a reusable design system or UI component library. Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices. Requirements: Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, HCI, or related fields. A strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX skills (personal projects, internships, or freelance work). Hands-on experience with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, or Adobe Creative Suite. Basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Tailwind CSS (a plus). Good grasp of user-centered design (UCD) principles and design heuristics. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Preferred Skills (Good to Have): Experience with motion design or micro-interactions using tools like After Effects or Lottie. Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design. Familiarity with modern design systems such as Material Design, Ant Design, or Bootstrap. Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based product development teams.
