FMS Engineer- Network Passive Resource & Printer hardware Maintenance

As an FMS Engineer specializing in Network Passive Resource and Printer Hardware Maintenance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT and OT networks, as well as computer systems and printers within the organization. Your responsibilities will include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, compliance, collaboration, vendor management, system maintenance, printer maintenance, inventory management, and SLA compliance. For the Network Passive Resource aspect of the role, you will oversee the installation of network cabling, racks, patch panels, and other passive components across all three plants. Ensuring 99% network uptime, troubleshooting network-related issues, maintaining accurate documentation, and complying with industry standards and safety regulations are key aspects of this responsibility. Additionally, you will collaborate with active network engineers, IT teams, and external vendors to support network performance and manage material supply. In terms of Printer Hardware Maintenance, you will be responsible for performing regular maintenance and updates on computer systems, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues affecting printers, troubleshooting problems to minimize downtime, and maintaining detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities. Providing technical support and training to end-users, managing inventory of spare parts and tools, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards are also crucial aspects of this role. You will be required to be available in the plants six days a week in shifts, with the expectation of meeting SLA compliance. In case of emergency calls on nights or Sundays, compensatory offs will be provided based on mutual agreement with the Plant IT Lead.
