Flying Saw Machine Operator

Job Title:

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the Flying Saw machine for accurate panel cutting.
• Select and set panel sizes in the system as per the work order.
• Ensure clean cuts, proper alignment, and minimal scrap during operation.
• Record customized sizes and scrap details in the Daily Production Report (DPR).
• Check daily machine parameters such as panel density, joinery (male/female grooves), and cutting quality.
• Meet daily production targets efficiently and safely.
• Arrange required raw materials before starting the line.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow safety procedures in the cutting area.
• Guide and manage off-roll (contract) manpower on the machine.
• Report any technical issues to the maintenance team immediately.
• Promote the use of PPEs and support process improvements and Kaizen activities.
