Job Description: We are seeking a Loads & Aeroelastics Engineer to join our team, responsible for delivering loads and aeroelastics solutions throughout the aircraft lifecycle, from development to in-service support. Your key responsibilities will include: Modelling and simulating aircraft aerodynamics, inertia, flexibility, landing gear, control systems, and flight mechanics. Your work will be critical in calculating and analyzing all external loads on the aircraft, including those from manoeuvres, turbulence, landing impacts, ground-handling etc. Ensuring that the aircraft remains free of flutter and other aeroelastic phenomena across its entire operating envelope through detailed modelling and analysis of aircraft structural dynamics. Deliver aircraft loads and aeroelastics documentation and data essential for the safe dimensioning of the aircraft structure and for achieving certification in accordance with time, cost, and quality standards. Provide recommendations for aircraft design, development processes, new technologies, and in-service operations, all related to the loads and aeroelastics field. Apply all relevant quality assurance processes, such as lessons learned, continuous improvement, and adherence to Quality Gates. Education & Experience Bachelors or Masters degree in A eronautical, Mechanical engineering or related disciplines ? The candidate will be responsible for independently developing different subsystems, performing design and analysis to support research and development of UAVs. You will be responsible for creating a new design from scratch or re-designing an existing product and taking it through all stages of design & development, testing until final handover to production. Design & Development You will generate comprehensive component specifications, define selection criteria for key components, test and validate them for use in different sub-systems. Your role will involve developing practical and innovative mechanical designs for the engineering of equipment, systems, and components. Additionally, you will be creating a consistent design language/theme for all aspects of a product. As a Product Owner for drones based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and lifecycle of cutting-edge UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) products. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and regulatory teams to deliver innovative solutions that not only meet market demands but also adhere to regulatory standards. Your role will involve understanding the business requirements, visualizing customer demands, and aligning them with the available tech stack. You will work closely with the engineering and design teams to develop product specifications, build prototypes, and monitor product performance based on user feedback and limitations. RESPONSIBILITIES Layout, positions, aligns and fits components together using applicable machines, tools and equipment. Bolt, clamp and tack weld parts to secure them in position for final welding. Welding programming on CNC as per the drawing. Select consumables as per the WPS / Work Order details Prior to start welding, check and calibration status of machines and ovens Pre- heat as required by the procedure Start welding and monitor each pass for the welding quality Check and maintain inter-pass temperature as per procedure Record all details required as per the procedure in respective format Record / identify / communicate, in case any NCR noticed Identify the items as required by the procedure Follow safety instructions and notify, if any unsafe conditions noticed. Move all the welded items to PWHT and follow PWHT Procedure Suggest for the improvements through CAR / PAR EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES ITI / Diploma in welding / cladding with 2-3 years experience.
