Product Owner- UAV

As a Product Owner for drones based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and lifecycle of cutting-edge UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) products. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and regulatory teams to deliver innovative solutions that not only meet market demands but also adhere to regulatory standards. Your role will involve understanding the business requirements, visualizing customer demands, and aligning them with the available tech stack. You will work closely with the engineering and design teams to develop product specifications, build prototypes, and monitor product performance based on user feedback and limitations. Additionally, you may also lead the drone certification process when required. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics & Communication, coupled with at least 5 years of experience in UAV, robotics, or related fields. A proven track record in product management, especially in UAVs, robotics, or aerospace, is essential. Proficiency in CAD tools, basic understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Aerodynamics, as well as a strong grasp of areas such as Battery & Propulsion, Avionics, Communication Systems, CAD, Prototype Building, and Flight Mechanics, will be beneficial. Prior experience with regulatory frameworks like DGCA guidelines on drones and working with the CSUAS scheme for drones will be advantageous. Your ability to navigate through ambiguity, manage shifting priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced multi-stakeholder environment will be crucial. Strong technology leadership in areas related to drone flight dynamics, communication systems, CAD & design, Navigation, and Power Trains/Battery will set you up for success in this role.
