First Line Support Engineer (Afternoon shift)

As a Technical Support Engineer at Checkmarx, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their complex cases and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing initial response and support to customers primarily through Salesforce system and occasional phone calls - Analyzing and classifying customer cases, reproducing issues in a private lab - Leveraging various resources to solve cases, gathering essential information for skill-based teams - Smart routing of cases to the correct team and contributing to knowledge sharing - Exceeding customer expectations and achieving high satisfaction ratings To succeed in this role, you will need: - Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills - Strong problem-solving abilities and a BS degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field - Minimum 1 year of experience as a Technical Support Engineer or similar role - Familiarity with Windows/Linux OS, ability to troubleshoot technical issues, and provide step-by-step help - Knowledge of IIS, Certificates, Docker, and ability to learn complex products quickly Desired qualifications include basic experience with authentication protocols, Networking/Internet Services, MS SQL Server, and familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Confluence, and Trello. This position is based in Pune, India, and requires willingness to work a fixed afternoon shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST) for 6 days a week.
