Firmware Manager

Role Overview: As a Firmware Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of firmware engineers, manage firmware projects, and ensure the quality and timely delivery of firmware solutions. Your role will require strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Leadership and Team Management: - Hire, train, and mentor firmware engineers. - Set team goals and priorities. - Manage team performance and provide feedback. - Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team and across departments. - Project Management: - Plan and execute firmware projects. - Develop and manage project budgets. - Track project progress and identify risks. - Ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery. - Technical Expertise: - Understand firmware development processes and tools. - Design and develop firmware solutions. - Troubleshoot and debug firmware issues. - Stay updated on the latest firmware technologies. - Collaboration and Communication: - Work with hardware engineers, software engineers, and product managers. - Communicate project status to stakeholders. - Represent the firmware team in meetings and presentations. Qualification Required: - Prior experience in firmware development and project management. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Knowledge of firmware technologies and tools. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
