AIRMAN Aeronautics builds aviation hardware and software used by pilots, students, and training institutions. Our ecosystem covers flight tools, sensor-driven devices, and apps that help simplify flying and make training more efficient.


Role Description

Hybrid internship

You’ll work on low-level code for microcontrollers, help interface with sensors, handle real-time data, and support the firmware that powers AIRMAN devices.


Responsibilities

  • Write and maintain firmware for sensors and data handling
  • Work with I2C, SPI, UART, and BLE communication
  • Assist with real-time data processing and logging
  • Support bootloading, power management, and fail-safe logic
  • Help test, debug, and validate hardware with the embedded team.


Qualifications

  • Strong C/C++ programming skills
  • Familiarity with ARM/ESP32/STM32 or similar MCUs
  • Basic understanding of RTOS (FreeRTOS is a plus)
  • Experience using debugging tools (logic analyzer, oscilloscope, etc.)
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Interest in embedded systems or aviation tech
  • Pursuing a degree in Electronics, CS, or similar.
