Fire Safety Officer

The candidate must have conducting fire risk assessments, performing inspections of fire safety equipment, developing and implementing fire prevention programs, training staff on emergency procedures, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations, and responding to fire incidents to coordinate evacuation and minimize damage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fire Prevention and Risk Management:
• Conduct fire risk assessments to identify potential hazards in various environments.
• Develop and implement fire prevention programs, focusing on areas like electrical safety, flammable materials, and waste management.
• Monitor high-risk areas and ensure that safety protocols are strictly followed.
• Inspections and Compliance:
• Regularly inspect fire safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers and escape routes, to ensure they are well-maintained and functional.
• Verify compliance with local, state, and federal fire codes and regulations.
• Monitor building structures, services, and electrical systems for fire safety.
• Emergency Preparedness and Response:
• Develop and coordinate emergency response plans and fire evacuation drills for employees and occupants.
• Respond to actual fire incidents, coordinating efforts to ensure a safe evacuation and control the spread of the fire.
• Provide leadership and direction during emergencies, maintaining calm and ensuring a swift, effective response.
• Training and Education:
• Provide comprehensive training programs to employees and the public on fire prevention and emergency procedures.
• Conduct fire safety awareness sessions to educate staff on hazards and safe practices.

Experience - 2-3 years

Candidate have NABH knowledge.
