Job Description

As a Fire Safety Compliance Officer, your role involves conducting fire risk assessments and identifying potential hazards to ensure the facility's compliance with all local and federal fire codes and regulations. It is essential to maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety legislation and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Developing and implementing comprehensive emergency response and evacuation plans. - Organizing and conducting regular fire drills and mock drills. - Leading and coordinating emergency response efforts, including communication with emergency services. In the aspect of training and education, you will be responsible for providing fire safety training to staff and employees and educating them on the proper use of fire safety equipment and procedures. Regarding equipment and maintenance, your duties will include overseeing the maintenance and readiness of all fire safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers and hydrants, and conducting regular checks on fire protection systems to ensure their operational efficiency. In incident management and reporting, you will investigate the causes of fires and accidents, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate records of inspections, training, and incidents. Additionally, you will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety strategies implemented. As a Full-time Fire Safety Compliance Officer, your work location will be in person, ensuring that all fire safety protocols and procedures are diligently followed to maintain a safe working environment.
