Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fire Protection Engineer located in Bengaluru South. The Fire Protection Engineer will be responsible for developing fire protection strategies, conducting fire risk assessments, and designing fire protection systems. Responsibilities include designing sprinkler/hydrant systems, fire pump houses and yard piping ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, and assisting clients with hazard identification and mitigation solutions. The candidate will collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality risk assessments and engineering services tailored to client needs.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Fire Protection Design is essential.
• Knowledge and experience with Fire Safety, Life Safety, and Safety Engineering principles are required.
• Strong understanding of local and international codes, standards, and guidelines related to fire protection and safety.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to recommend effective risk mitigation solutions.
• Proven experience in inspecting, designing, or assessing fire protection and life safety systems is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Piping or Fire Protection Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach are valuable assets.
• Certifications such as NFPA or relevant training will be considered an advantage.
• 1-3 years experience in consulting environment is preferred.
