Fire Fighting Site Engineer

As an MEP Engineer, you will be responsible for achieving a detailed understanding of the Contract documents, phasing plans, MEP systems interrelationships, construction sequencing, and project schedule. Your role will involve facilitating problem-solving between MEP Subcontractors, validating design issues, assisting in MEP submittal review, and logging all MEP changes on field drawings. Additionally, you will assist in scope review, budgeting, justification of MEP change work orders, and the installation of MEP work. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate problem solving between MEP Subcontractors - Validate design issues and suggest alternative solutions - Assist in MEP submittal receipt and review - Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings - Assist in scope review, budgeting, and justification of MEP change work orders - Assist in the installation of MEP work - Direct, monitor, and control MEP Subcontractor activities - Coordinate and administer MEP-related materials, systems, and shop drawings submittals - Liaise with Consultant MEP supervisory Engineers, Inspectors, and relevant staff - Ensure MEP Subcontractors provide and adhere to relevant Quality documentation/records - Ensure MEP Subcontractors adhere to Project safety regulations - Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment Qualifications Required: - 3 years of total work experience in a similar role (Preferred) Note: This job is full-time and requires you to be based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu or be willing to relocate before starting work.
