Key duties include system programming, testing, and regular inspections, while core requirements often involve relevant certifications, experience with specific systems and components, and strong knowledge of national codes like NFPA 72. Key Responsibilities System Design & Installation: Collaborating with clients and architects to design customized fire alarm systems and overseeing their proper installation. Commissioning & Testing: Performing system commissioning, programming panels, and conducting thorough testing of detectors, panels, and other components to ensure full operational status and compliance.
