Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Site Engineer Finishing is responsible for overseeing and ensuring high-quality execution of finishing works at the project site, including but not limited to plastering, painting, flooring, tiling, false ceilings, carpentry, and other interior/exterior finishes. The role requires coordination with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver the project within defined timelines, quality standards, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and execute finishing works as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Monitor daily site activities to ensure proper progress, workmanship, and compliance with safety regulations.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams to ensure timely completion of finishing activities.
Inspect and verify the quality of materials used and ensure adherence to project specifications.
Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, checklists, and documentation related to site finishing activities.
Ensure that snag lists and punch points are resolved before handover.
Assist in preparing quantity take-offs and material requisitions related to finishing works.
Liaise with consultants, architects, and clients for inspections and approvals.
Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies at the site.
Identify and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies in coordination with the design and project management teams.
