Website: www.vfinancialservices.com Position Overview As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive financial plans tailored to individual client needs and guiding them toward their financial goals. You will work closely with clients to analyze their financial health, recommend suitable investment strategies, and ensure long-term financial success. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, deep financial knowledge, and a passion for ethical financial advisory. Roles & Responsibilities 1. Comprehensive Financial Planning • Conduct detailed financial needs analysis for individuals, families, and businesses. • Prepare customized financial plans including: • Goal-based planning (education, marriage, retirement, legacy) • Wealth creation & protection • Retirement planning • Tax optimization strategies • Risk assessment & mitigation through insurance planning • Monitor and review financial plans regularly to ensure alignment with evolving goals and market conditions. 2. Investment Strategy & Advisory • Provide professional recommendations on: • Mutual Funds • Fixed Income (FDs, Bonds, NCDs) • Equity-linked plans (ELSS, Stocksif applicable) • Insurance (Life & Health) • PMS / AIF (for eligible clients) • Assess risk profiles using scientifically structured tools and design optimal asset allocation strategies. • Stay informed about market trends, product updates, and regulatory changes to offer current and compliant advice. 3. Client Engagement & Relationship Building • Foster trust and long-term relationships with clients through regular financial reviews and proactive communication. • Address client queries, concerns, and provide clarity on financial products, strategies, and market conditions. • Ensure a seamless experience for clients during onboarding, execution, and review processes. 4. Compliance & Documentation • Ensure strict adherence to SEBI, AMFI, and regulatory frameworks. • Maintain accurate, updated, and compliant records of financial plans, transactions, and communications. • Ensure completion of necessary documentation for KYC, risk profiling, and investment execution. 5. Business Growth Contribution • Support business development through referrals, networking, and offering superior client experience. • Collaborate with internal teams for cross-functional tasks like tax planning, insurance coordination, or estate planning, where applicable. • Participate in financial literacy initiatives such as webinars, client education sessions, and knowledge sharing. Candidate Requirements Educational Qualification: • Graduate in Commerce / Finance / Economics / Management or related field (Mandatory) • Certifications (Preferred): • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Preferred / Mandatory • NISM XA & XB Mandatory • AMFI Registration Advantageous Experience: • 2 to 5 years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or investment planning. • Fresh CFP graduates with internship exposure may also apply for entry-level positions. Technical Skills: • Sound knowledge of financial planning concepts, taxation basics, and investment products. • Proficiency in MS Excel, Financial Planning Software (e.g., Goal Planning Tools), Mutual Fund transaction platforms, and CRM tools. Behavioral & Soft Skills: • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to simplify complex financial concepts for clients. • Client-centric approach with ethical advisory practices. • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously. • Professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality are essential. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): • Number of financial plans created and reviewed. • Client satisfaction and retention rates. • AUM (Assets Under Management) contribution. • Compliance adherence and timely documentation. • Contribution to cross-selling and referrals.
