Job Description

As a Royalty Contracts Assistant at Pearson, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of the Contracts Team. Your attention to detail, operational acumen, and collaborative spirit will contribute to the overall success of the team and help you advance your career within the finance group. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Agreement Analysis and Archival** - Review pre-drafted agreements for compliance with operational standards. - Index and archive legal paperwork accurately for reference and audit purposes. - **Following SLAs and Controls** - Maintain data integrity through timely and accurate data maintenance for dashboard reporting. - Ensure efficiency by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational controls. - **Data Maintenance** - Manage and maintain accurate client data records, including contract details and performance metrics. - Implement data retention policies in line with regulatory requirements and client agreements. - Assist in author onboarding by maintaining author record data in Oracle. - **Coordination** - Collaborate with Portfolio, legal, and other teams within the Royalties department to address inquiries and provide support. **Qualifications:** - A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field. - Limited experience in a similar role, preferably in the rights and royalties domain. **Desired Skills:** - Strong attention to detail and meticulous agreement analysis. - Proficiency in data entry and experience with Intellectual Property Management systems. - Effective workload management and deadline adherence. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
