Financial Institution Sales Executive

Job Purpose:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing derivative and treasury solutions for

institutional clients including banks, NBFCs, mutual funds, insurance companies, and other financial intermediaries.

The role requires a strong grasp of derivative products, market trends, risk management, and client relationship

management to drive revenue growth and enhance wallet share within the FI segment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management:

• Develop and maintain relationships with key institutional clients across banking, insurance, asset

• management, and non-banking sectors.

• Identify client needs in risk management and investment, offering customized derivative and

• treasury solutions.

2. Product & Solution Structuring:

• Structure and price derivative products including FX, interest rate, and commodity derivatives in line

• with regulatory and risk frameworks.

• Advise clients on hedging strategies, yield enhancement ideas, and structured product opportunities.

• Collaborate with trading and structuring desks to deliver optimal client outcomes.

3. Market & Risk Insights:

• Monitor global and domestic financial markets to provide timely market intelligence and trade ideas

• to clients.

• Ensure adherence to internal credit, compliance, and risk management standards.

4. Revenue & Business Development:

• Drive sales targets and revenue growth through cross-selling and deepening client engagement.

• Identify new opportunities within the FI segment to expand market coverage.

5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

• Work closely with risk, legal, operations, and compliance teams for seamless execution.

• Provide inputs to product development and marketing based on client feedback and market trends.

Academic Qualifications:

• Post graduate degree in Finance / Economics / Business Management or Chartered Accountant / CFA

preferred.

• Certifications in treasury, derivatives, or risk management will be an added advantage.

Experience Required:

Specialized Skill Set Required:

• Deep understanding of derivative instruments (FX, Interest Rate Swaps, Options, FRAs, etc.) and

• treasury products.

• Strong grasp of financial markets, macroeconomics, and risk management principles.

• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.

• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with proven sales acumen.

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (RBI, SEBI, Basel norms).
