About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Financial Engineer Engineer with experience in claims processing, particularly within Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), to support the development of Flow of Funds models, data ingestion pipelines, and deployment automation.

This role blends financial data engineering, DevOps, and PBM claims expertise, ideal for someone with strong skills in Python, Snowflake (including Snowpipe and Tasks), and Azure-based ingestion systems. You will also support automation and infrastructure for tools like Blob Storage, Files.com, and CI/CD platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement Flow of Funds models with a focus on PBM claims tracking and financial reconciliation.
Develop and manage data pipelines using Snowflake, including Snowpipe and Tasks for scheduling and automation.
Build ingestion workflows using Azure Blob Storage, Files.com, and other tools to integrate external claim files and financial data.
Apply PBM claims knowledge to ensure accurate processing, validation, and aggregation of claim-level data.
Collaborate across finance, engineering, and operations teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Implement and maintain DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automated deployment strategies.
Monitor systems for reliability, data integrity, and performance across ingestion and reporting platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in financial engineering, data engineering, or DevOps roles.
Hands-on experience with PBM claims data and workflows (e.g., adjudication, reversals, NCPDP formats).
Strong proficiency in Python for data transformation, automation, and scripting.
Advanced experience with Snowflake, including Snowpipe, Tasks, and query performance optimization.
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, especially Blob Storage and Azure Data Factory.
Familiarity with file transfer platforms like Files.com.
Working knowledge of DevOps tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
