Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide financial counseling to patients undergoing cancer treatment, ensuring they understand their medical bills and insurance coverage.
  
• Assist patients in navigating the complexities of healthcare financing, including payment plans and financial assistance programs.
  
• Collaborate with hospital administration to develop patient-centered care models that prioritize emotional support and financial well-being.
  
• Develop strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication throughout the treatment process.
  
• Identify opportunities for cost savings initiatives that benefit both patients and the hospital.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in financial counselling or a related field (e.g., hospital administration).
  
• Strong understanding of cancer diagnosis, treatment options, and associated costs.
  
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders (patients, families, healthcare providers).
  
• Ability to analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in patient care delivery.
