Financial Counsellor

A Hospital Financial Counselor guides patients on treatment costs, insurance, and payment options, acting as a liaison to explain bills, estimate expenses, arrange payment plans, and process aid (like charity/government funds), ensuring financial clarity so patients focus on care, handling documentation, and coordinating with insurers/TPAs for smooth admissions and billing. Key Responsibilities

• Patient Counseling: Explain treatment costs, insurance benefits (deductibles, copays, coinsurance), and hospital payment policies.
• Financial Planning: Help patients set up payment plans, explore loans (e.g., Bajaj Finance), and find financial aid/grants.
• Insurance & Claims: Coordinate with Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), corporate panels, and government agencies for approvals and claim processing.
• Admission Support: Collect pre-authorization forms, verify patient data, prepare cost estimates, and manage admission records.
• Documentation: Ensure accuracy of patient financial records and maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Liaison: Act as a bridge between patients, insurance companies, and hospital departments (billing, clinical).
• Reporting: Generate reports on financial clearance and patient accounts.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
