Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller at the largest Cable and Conductor Manufacturer & Exporter in Eastern India, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company. Your primary focus will be on financial reporting, managing accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and overseeing the audit processes. Your role will involve collaborating with senior leadership to provide financial insights that guide strategic decision-making. - Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements. - Ensure that financial statements comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulations. - Perform regular financial analysis to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement. - Prepare and manage annual budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and suggesting corrective actions. - Ensure efficient and effective internal controls over financial processes and reporting. - Lead the internal and external audit processes, coordinating with auditors and ensuring timely completion. - Ensure compliance with tax regulations, corporate governance, and other legal requirements. - Monitor and assess internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance. - Provide financial insights to senior leadership, advising on business strategies, cost control, and investment opportunities. - Identify financial risks and provide mitigation strategies. - Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and capital expenditures. - Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, ensuring their development and performance alignment with company goals.
