Job Description

As a Finance Manager at Acquara Management Consultant Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for various financial aspects to ensure the smooth functioning of the company's financial operations. With a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience as a Chartered Accountant, you will play a crucial role in financial management and reporting. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing the accurate and timely closing of financial books at the end of each accounting period. You will ensure compliance with accounting standards and IFRS during the closing process, as well as proper booking of prepaid expenses and provisions. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing the fixed assets register and performing regular scrutiny of the balance sheet, profit & loss account, and cash flow statements. Collaborating with the team, you will coordinate the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including balance sheet, profit & loss, and cash flow analysis. In terms of financial analysis and planning, you will conduct in-depth analysis of assets and liabilities, as well as profit & loss accounts. Variance analysis comparing historical periods and budgeted figures will be part of your routine tasks. You will also analyze working capital schedules, AR & AP ageing, and inventory ageing. Furthermore, you will assist in the preparation of business plans and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making. Your role will also involve auditing and compliance tasks. You will liaise with internal and external auditors, coordinating with external auditors during the annual audit process. Providing necessary documentation and clear explanations during audits and regulatory reviews will be essential. It is crucial to maintain up-to-date knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards to ensure full compliance. Process improvement and internal controls will be an integral part of your responsibilities. You will review and enhance financial processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls. Developing and implementing best practices in financial consolidation and reporting will be essential to streamline operations. Stakeholder engagement and team leadership are vital aspects of this role. You will be required to communicate complex financial information and strategic insights to senior management and key stakeholders. Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of finance professionals to ensure high performance and continuous professional growth will be expected. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including tax, treasury, and operations to ensure seamless financial operations is also a key component of your responsibilities.,
