Description
As a Financial Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting financial management through analysis, reporting, and reconciliation of financial and operational results. You will be responsible for identifying and researching variances to plans and providing recommendations to key stakeholders. Your role will involve engaging in budgeting and forecasting processes while ensuring reporting compliance. Additionally, you will support priority projects and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Perform data extraction, diagnose financial drivers, and leverage analytics to make recommendations to key stakeholders. - Conduct comprehensive financial analysis for specific functions or business units, addressing financial business issues and providing valuable analytics to support key business initiatives. - Provide inputs for the monthly review of expenses and capital for budgeting and forecasting processes and analyze variances with operational analytics and insight. - Interpret financial reports, including forecasts, budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow documents. - Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the organization's financial processes and gain proficient knowledge of the company's operations and business. - Support the business by closing the books, analyzing variances and trends, and developing financial forecasts consistent with the business objectives of the organization. - Ensure compliance with reporting standards and corporate policies and the integrity of external and internal reporting. - Apply foundational principles and contribute proactively to projects through research and data analysis support, providing regular updates on accomplishments and impediments. - Support priority projects with direction, maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, and share information via standardized reports. Qualifications Required: - Four-year Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. - Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
