Job Description

As a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Associate in the Finance team, you will lead and coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process. You will define, refine, and deliver earnings and capital projections over varying economic scenarios, collaborating with firmwide groups in each line of business. Your responsibilities will include preparing management reports and presentations for the Operating Committee and the Board of Directors. Additionally, you will: - Serve as a liaison between Firm-wide P&A, lines of business, Functional Finance teams, and other support teams to provide impactful reporting, planning, and insightful analyses. - Produce presentations, analysis, and supporting materials for key internal clients, including senior management. - Participate in and support ad-hoc special projects and requests as needed. - Develop, consolidate, and present qualitative and quantitative financial analysis, including annual budget and forecast variances. - Create, maintain, and review financial models and analyses, both recurring and ad-hoc. - Conduct in-depth analyses on key issues impacting clients to propose solutions. - Collaborate with business partners to ensure timely, accurate, and effective delivery of initiatives. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders. Qualifications required for this role include being a self-starter who can work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. You should possess sound judgment, professional maturity, personal integrity, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Additionally, you must be comfortable with changing priorities, comprehend and communicate complex concepts clearly, and maintain composure in a dynamic environment. You should have excellent organizational, management, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Essbase, Visual Basic, and macros is essential. Furthermore, you should be able to build strong partnerships, learn quickly, be flexible, and think strategically. Preferred qualifications include a BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (CFA, CPA, MBA a plus), along with at least 3 years of relevant FP&A experience, preferably in the financial services industry. Detail-oriented individuals who work well under pressure, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and possess a team-oriented, inquisitive, and critical thinking mindset are encouraged to apply.,
