Job Description

Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support business decisions. This role involves forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and evaluating financial performance to help the organization achieve its strategic and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support management decisions.
  • Perform variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

2. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze financial data and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Create dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics for management review.
  • Consolidate financial data across departments or business units.

3. Business Partnering

  • Collaborate with other departments to understand financial implications of business activities.
  • Provide financial guidance for projects, investments, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Support strategic planning and business case development.

4. Financial Controls & Compliance

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
  • Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and industry benchmarks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • (Optional but preferred) Master’s degree or professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or CMA.
  • 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or corporate finance.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
