Finance Trainer & Process Excellence Lead

About the Role:

We are looking for an Associate Trainer - Finance & Accounting to lead the training and onboarding of new accountants and analysts in U.S. accounting processes.

This role will primarily focus on training delivery and module creation, including:

• Designing and developing detailed training modules on U.S. GAAP,
  reconciliations, AP/AR processes, payroll accounting, and reporting.
• Teaching business basics, industry standards, and practical business understanding to help trainees connect accounting entries to real-world business impact.
• Conducting interactive sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs for new joiners.
• Building real-world case studies and templates aligned with client scenarios and accounting standards.

Additionally, based on bandwidth and business requirements, the role may include managing one or two client accounts to stay aligned with live operational practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and update structured training content and SOPs for accounting teams.
• Deliver classroom and on-the-job training to new hires.
• Assess trainee performance and provide regular feedback.
• Stay updated on U.S. GAAP, accounting automation tools, and industry best practices.
• Support knowledge transition and process standardization across client accounts.
• Manage limited client books when assigned, ensuring process compliance and accuracy.
  

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting operations, or month- end close (U.S. accounting exposure preferred).
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or similar accounting tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for training, mentoring, and content development.
• Prior experience in team training, onboarding, or process documentation will be an advantage.
