Finance Technology - Senior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities: - Provide on-going Oracle support for business as usual activities, including monitoring and break-fixing daily transactional integrations with various Tower in-house and COTS applications, managing reconciliations, and offering technical support for queries from business users. - Perform month-end activities such as opening/closing of ledger, maintenance of interfaces, and period-close exception. - Manage Chart of accounts and other master data and transactional rules, identifying inefficiencies around Finance processes, and transforming them to support transactional and reporting capabilities. - Build and deliver the future financial platform for the firm, enhance current system capabilities and reports, and work closely with global team members to handle region-specific systems. Qualifications: Must Have: - Hands-on experience in working with Oracle ERP, with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience and at least 3 years with Oracle Fusion Cloud (SaaS) including 2 full cycle implementations. - In-depth knowledge and experience of Finance and Procurement processes, Oracle Fusion Cloud modules, basic accounting, configuration, data models, and period-end processes. - Hands-on experience in developing and managing reports, knowledge of SQL, OIC integrations, Oracle Cloud Rest and SOAP APIs. Nice to Have: - Exposure to Tableau or similar reporting tools, Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS), Planning Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS), Python, Employee Expense Management tools, and HCM tools. - Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, ability to work with geographically distanced and cross-functional teams, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to quickly build a technical prototype, exposure to agile environments, strong communication skills, and fluency in English.
