Finance Technology- Senior Java Engineering Lead-Pune

As a member of the Finance, Markets and Credit Risk Technology team at Citi, you will play a crucial role in enabling the bank to achieve its day-to-day and long-term growth goals. The team provides services, technical solutions, and infrastructure to support the execution of Citis Strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory mandates and empowering businesses to achieve their goals. In Finance, Market and Credit Risk Technology (FMCRT), we are dedicated to pushing the limits of technology, adhering to Citis strategic architecture principles, and supporting the integration of multiple global functions within the bank including Finance, Risk, and Controllers. As part of the Strategic team, your responsibilities will include developing, enhancing, supporting, and maintaining solutions for Finance Technology. You will have the opportunity to participate in technical discussions and brainstorming sessions to define ideas and strategies for existing and future platforms. Working across a diverse set of Finance platforms, you will also be involved in re-architecture and re-platforming initiatives on low code automation platforms, gaining exposure to Wholesale, Retail business across data, risk, and finance. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all technology standards across the functional area, setting goals, contributing to IT Project Leadership function, and ensuring teams within the functional area are adequately staffed and possess the required skill sets. Additionally, you will provide an environment where Subject Matter Experts can work efficiently and deliver effectively, manage the execution of IT strategy and roadmap, and apply an in-depth understanding of engineering concepts. To qualify for this position, you should have 10-12 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role, extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications, experience in managing and implementing successful projects, and proven engineering experience in building robust, scalable, and maintainable applications in the Capital Markets Technology industry. You should also have experience in a technical leadership role, with experience leading global technology teams. In terms of technical skills, you should have 10+ years of relevant experience in Java/JVM Based Language Like Kotlin, Microservices, API Development, and its Eco-systems. Additionally, you should have hands-on working experience with Java, Spring, Spring Cloud, Spring Data JPA, Spring Boot Microservices, Junit, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL Databases, MongoDB, Oracle, Big Data, and Middleware like Tibco RV, EMS, Solace, etc. A Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience is required, with a Masters degree preferred.
