Role Summary: As the Finance System Administrator, you will serve as the Key User for finance systems like SAP, Ariba, Concur, Share point workflow, Blackline, and other related systems. Your primary responsibility will involve providing system-side support to business users, acting as the central point of contact for system modifications or updates, and engaging with software vendors as necessary. You will also collaborate closely with other finance system team members, including those in the BPO and Digital X departments. Key Responsibilities: - Manage finance master data and collaborate with the Master Data Management team - Ensure compliance with Astellas policies and oversee system usage in alignment with compliance standards - Maintain security access, Financial Authority levels, Segregation of Duty, and delegation controls - Support period end close activities for all finance systems, including data reconciliations - Ensure business continuity by addressing issues promptly and escalating when required - Upload FX rates to relevant financial systems for EMEA Business Services - Offer training and guidance on finance systems as needed - Contribute to agile deployment of initiatives and participate in operational initiatives within agile teams - Drive continuous improvement in system efficiency and compliance, supporting transformation projects Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in finance or computer science Experience: - Minimum 5 years of experience in financial systems administration - Proven track record of collaborating in a cross-functional environment and engaging with stakeholders effectively - Previous experience in a multinational and matrix organization environment preferred - Familiarity with Shared Service or Global Capability Centre collaboration models Technical Skills: - Proficiency in internal controls, J-SOX/SOX frameworks, and financial governance - Advanced knowledge of systems like SAP, Ariba, Blackline, BCP, Share point - Expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Blackline, BCP, Share point) - Strong Excel proficiency Language and Communication: - Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities - Advanced proficiency in English (speaking and writing) Competencies: - Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy - Analytical mindset with the ability to present data clearly to stakeholders - Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively in cross-functional teams - Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach Astellas is dedicated to fostering equality of opportunity in all aspects of employment, including EOE (Equal Opportunity Employer) considerations for Disability/Protected Veterans.,
