Finance Risk and Control Group Manager

As the Finance Controls Testing Team Leader for Global Finance, Operations & Technology, and Expense Management, your role involves being accountable for end-to-end controls testing, including design, execution, results reporting, and insight sharing related to operational controls performance assurance. You will focus on key controls across segments of the organization to support Risk Reduction efforts related to high inherent risks. Your responsibilities include leading and directing a team of 4 to 6 controls testing professionals, planning and executing control testing, staying updated on the latest trends in controls testing, and interacting with senior managers. Key Responsibilities: - Assess control design and develop testing procedures - Carry out Control Design Assessment (CDA) and resolve escalations - Make decisions on control testing design activity and approve testing procedures - Maintain resource forecast for the team and ensure compliance with policies - Prepare control testing updates for senior meetings and operational risk forums - Support team members on testing design and execution, performance management, and driving continuous improvements - Foster working relationships with leaders across multiple lines of business, auditors, and regulators - Ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, and escalate control issues with transparency - Support other relevant work efforts of the department as directed by the manager Qualifications: - 4-6 years of experience in operational risk control and quality assurance - Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint - Leadership, communication, and influencing skills - Financial services experience with knowledge of the Branded Cards business preferred - Project management and governance experience - Ability to foster relationships with leaders and support organizations - Judgement and critical thinking skills - Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred,
