Role Overview

The Finance Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end financial operations of the bus services payments, settlements, vendor reconciliations, payouts, vendor management, and compliance. The role requires a deep understanding of transportation industry dynamics, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and transparency in financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:-

• 1. Payouts & Settlements
• Manage operator payouts (fixed model, per KM model, or revenue share model) in line with contracts.
• Ensure settlement reports are accurate and in sync with operational data.
• Oversee Schedule IV and other statutory payout documentation.
• 2. Cost Control & Analysis
• Track and analyze cost per trip, per KM, per seat, and identify areas for cost optimization.
• Review operational expenses such as fuel, tolls, maintenance, staff salaries, and taxes.
• 3. Compliance & Taxation
• Ensure adherence to GST, RCM, and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants for compliance documentation and queries from authorities.
• 4. Process Improvement & Automation
• Work with tech teams to automate payout and reconciliation processes.
• Implement financial SOPs to minimize manual intervention and improve accuracy.
• 5. Team Management & Stakeholder Coordination
• Lead and mentor the finance operations team.
• Serve as a point of escalation for operator financial queries.
