Manager Finance & Accounts

Role Overview

The Manager Finance & Accounts will be responsible for end-to-end finance, accounting, compliance, and financial control functions for the group entities. The role requires strong hands-on capability in manufacturing finance, statutory compliance, cost control, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting Operations

1. Overall in-charge of Finance & Accounts for two entities.
2. Preparation, review, and timely closure of books of accounts.
3. Finalization of accounts in coordination with statutory and tax auditors.
4. Preparation and monitoring of cash flow and funds flow statements.
5. Insurance management for plant, machinery, and other fixed assets.

MIS, Reporting & Performance Monitoring

1. Preparation of

   monthly MIS and Balanced Scorecard

   with zero defects by the

   6th of every month

   .
2. Presentation of unit performance, insights, and improvement recommendations in Management Review Meetings.
3. Preparation of weekly budgets and highlighting variances with corrective action notes.

Costing, Budgeting & Control

1. Product costing for all finished goods, by-products, and upcoming proposals.
2. Container-wise costing within

   2 days of container receipt/dispatch

   .
3. Continuous budgeting and forecasting in coordination with procurement and operations teams.
4. Identification and implementation of cost-reduction and efficiency-improvement initiatives on an ongoing basis.

Statutory, Legal & Regulatory Compliance

1. Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements including Income Tax, GST, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, ROC, and other applicable laws.
2. Filing of statutory returns and timely payment of all statutory liabilities.
3. Liaison with auditors, Company Secretary, and tax consultants on assessments, notices, ROC filings, and secretarial matters.
4. Coordination with government departments for smooth operations and regulatory compliance.

Banking, Treasury & External Coordination

1. Liaison with banks for working capital limits, term loans, enhancement of limits, ECGC, and other financial facilities.
2. Financial planning and optimal utilization of available resources.
3. Support management in discussions related to land allocation, incentives, and government approvals.

Internal Controls & Audit

1. Conduct periodic internal audits of the Accounts department and strengthen internal controls.
2. Review and monitor debtors and creditors statements on a regular basis to ensure healthy cash cycles.

HR & Factory Compliance Coordination

1. Liaison with Dy. General Manager (HR) on matters relating to the Factories Act, PF, ESI, labor laws, and other statutory HR compliances.

Operations Interface

1. Financial oversight of dispatches of main products and by-products, ensuring proper documentation and accounting.

Key Deliverables & Performance Standards

• Monthly MIS & Balanced Scorecard:

  Error-free and submitted by the 6th of each month

• Costing reports:

  Within 2 days of container receipt/dispatch

• Continuous budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Timely statutory filings and zero non-compliance
• Effective cost-reduction initiatives and improved financial discipline
• Smooth audit closures and assessment finalizations

Ideal Candidate Profile (Optional if you want to include)

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred
• 812 years of experience in manufacturing, nutraceuticals, pharma, or chemicals
• Strong exposure to costing, statutory compliance, banking, and audits
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of interfacing with auditors, banks, and regulators
