Finance Intern

As a Finance Intern at Femtosoft Technologies, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in various aspects of finance within our organization. Your role will involve supporting the finance teams in their daily operations, analyzing financial data, and contributing to financial planning and reporting activities. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our finance team and assist in a range of financial projects. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and operations, helping you develop a comprehensive understanding of finance and accounting practices. To qualify for this position, you should be currently pursuing a degree in Finance and Accounting. A strong grasp of taxation laws, including corporate tax, individual tax, VAT, GST, international tax regulations, and transfer pricing guidelines, is essential. You must be able to interpret complex tax regulations and apply them effectively in a business context. Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines are crucial to ensure accurate and timely submissions. Effective communication skills are also necessary to explain tax-related matters to individuals without tax expertise and engage with tax authorities and external consultants. In this role, you will assist in financial analysis activities such as examining financial statements, evaluating key financial metrics, and preparing financial reports. Data entry tasks related to financial transactions, expenses, and income will also be part of your responsibilities, with a focus on maintaining the accuracy and completeness of financial records. You will support budgeting and forecasting activities, help develop financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, and assist in internal and external audits. Proficiency in tax preparation software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, is required. Strong analytical skills, mathematical proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and colleagues from various departments are essential for this role. You should have a commitment to upholding integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all financial activities, along with effective organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
