Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities: -

• Oversee and analyze timely MIS reports for effective management decision-making
• Ensure accurate preparation and review of the balance sheet and financial statements
• Manage GST compliance and timely filing of GST returns
• Handle all facets of direct and indirect taxation, including filings and coordination with tax authorities
• Supervise all Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities for timely payments and collections
• Lead preparation for audits, coordinate with auditors, and ensure audit compliance
• Monitor and enhance internal financial controls, processes, and documentation
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records using SAP and other ERP systems
• Liaise as needed with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
• Uphold company financial policies, statutory requirements, and accounting standards
• Mentor and lead the finance team for optimal performance and compliance

Skills & Experience Required:

• Chartered Accountant (CA), cleared in the first attempt (compulsory)
• Minimum 710 years experience, preferably in FMCG, D2C, or Retail industries
• Proficiency in SAP and hands-on experience with SAP-based accounting/ERP systems
• Strong analytical, reporting, and audit process skills
• Expert knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, and taxation laws
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other financial applications
• High attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities
