Finance Controller (Chartered Accountant)

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of the company by preparing and reviewing financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and related reports. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, accounting standards, and internal financial policies. You will be tasked with reconciling bank accounts, monitoring cash flow, and resolving financial discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities: - Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting - Contribute to budgeting and financial forecasting, providing insights for effective planning and decision-making - Supervise the preparation and timely filing of tax returns and other statutory obligations - Maintain proper documentation for audits and coordinate with external auditors as required - Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and advice for strategic initiatives Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail - Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel - Effective communication and interpersonal skills In addition to your core responsibilities, you may be required to recommend and implement improvements in accounting systems, processes, and controls. You will also be expected to perform any additional duties assigned by the management to support the overall financial health of the organization.
