Finance Assistant (Spanish speaking Caribbean Region)

As a Finance Assistant at MGM Muthu Hotels in the Spanish Caribbean, your role will involve supporting the Finance Department in various accounting operations, financial reporting, and administrative tasks. Your attention to detail, numerical skills, and ability to thrive in a multicultural hospitality setting will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, and supporting documentation. - Support the monthly closing process and assist in the preparation of financial statements. - Reconcile bank statements and oversee petty cash transactions. - Aid in budget preparation, cost control, and financial analysis. - Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards. - Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers on financial matters. - Provide administrative and clerical assistance to the Finance Manager and team. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with preference for hospitality experience. - Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software. - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality. - Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Spanish is advantageous. - Willingness to relocate and work in the Caribbean region.
