Finance and Accounts Intern

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Intern to join our team. This internship provides a great opportunity to gain practical experience in financial operations, accounting, and billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily accounting operations and data entry in accounting software
• Support in billing activities including invoice preparation, verification, and follow-ups
• Help manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collections
• Assist in preparing expense reports and tracking accounts payable
• Participate in bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance
• Maintain and organize financial records and documents
• Support monthly and quarterly financial closing activities
• Assist with statutory filings such as GST, TDS, etc., under guidance
• Coordinate with internal teams for billing and payment-related queries
• Prepare basic financial reports and analysis as required

Requirements:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Understanding of basic accounting and billing processes
• Familiarity with MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, Tally prime) preferred
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a team environment
