Field Technician

As a Field Installation Executive at Photonic System, an ISO 9001-2015 Certified company based in Coimbatore, your primary responsibility will be to install, maintain, and troubleshoot a range of products including Motor Pump Set Automatic Street Light Switches, Automatic Pump Set Controllers, and other related equipment. Your proactive approach, strong technical abilities, and commitment to delivering high-quality service will be essential in serving our clients across Tamil Nadu and surrounding regions. Key Responsibilities: - Install and configure Photonic Systems products at customer locations, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. - Conduct site assessments and prepare necessary tools and equipment before installations. - Provide routine maintenance and technical support for installed equipment, including diagnostics and repairs. - Respond to and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize customer downtime. - Liaise with customers to explain installation procedures, offer training on equipment usage, and address inquiries. - Keep accurate records of installations, services performed, and any technical issues encountered. - Follow all safety protocols during installations and service visits. Qualifications: - Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred. - Experience: 1-3 years of experience in field installation, particularly in the electrical or electronics industry. - Skills: Strong technical and problem-solving skills; ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals; excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple installations simultaneously. - Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry tools and equipment; comfortable working in various environments, including outdoor sites and confined spaces; willingness to travel frequently to various job sites.
